Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the BytePower website at bytepower.co (the "Website"), operated by BytePower LLC, an independent software company registered in the United States. By accessing the Website you agree to these Terms.

What BytePower does

BytePower builds and operates its own software products and provides custom software development services to businesses and independent creators worldwide. This Website describes our company and products. Individual software products or services may have additional terms or open-source licenses. Those licenses continue to govern the software they cover; these Website Terms do not remove rights granted by an applicable open-source license. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

Pricing and payments

The current versions of OmniDock, CC Theme, and WBrowser are free to download and use. We do not currently accept payments on this Website. Optional OmniDock advanced features are planned at approximately US$6 as a one-time purchase, not a subscription. This is a tentative price, and the paid features are not yet available.

Before paid sales open, the product page and checkout will identify the included features, final price, currency, applicable taxes, delivery method, and payment provider. A one-time purchase will not automatically renew. See our pricing information for the current status.

Refund policy

Free downloads and free features do not involve a payment, so there is no purchase amount to refund. We are not currently selling paid features or accepting preorders.

Before we accept any payment, we will publish the conditions and request deadline for paid-product refunds here and make them available before checkout. If you believe you have been charged by BytePower in error, contact contact@bytepower.co with the transaction date and reference, but do not send full card details. This policy does not limit any mandatory consumer rights.

Intellectual property

The BytePower name, logo, and the content of this Website belong to BytePower LLC and may not be used or reproduced without permission. Custom software we develop for clients is delivered under the terms of a separate agreement between the parties.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse this Website, including attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems, interfering with the Website's operation, or using it to distribute malicious code or unlawful content.

Suspension and termination

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to the Website or a service we control if you materially violate its applicable terms, attempt unauthorized access, distribute malicious code, engage in fraud, or if the law requires us to do so. Where reasonably possible, we will explain the reason and give you an opportunity to resolve the issue. We may act immediately when needed to protect users, security, or comply with law.

During a suspension, affected online services may be unavailable. If access is terminated, you must stop using the affected service. These measures do not override rights under an open-source license or mandatory consumer law. They do not automatically forfeit any refund rights. If we withdraw a paid offering before delivery, we will refund the undelivered purchase. You may stop using the Website at any time, or contact contact@bytepower.co to ask us to review a restriction.

Limitation of liability

This Website is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BytePower LLC is not liable for damages arising from your use of this Website or any product or service described on it. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights, remedies, or liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time as the Website or our business evolves. The current version will always be available on this page, with an updated revision date.
